Job Title: Written Translator

Job Overview: We are seeking detail-oriented and experienced Written Translators to translate a wide range of documents accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of both the source and target languages and be able to maintain the original meaning, tone, and context of the material. Translations will span various sectors, including legal, medical, technical, and marketing content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate written content from the source language to the target language while preserving the original meaning, tone, and context.

  • Ensure translations are culturally appropriate and sensitive to the target audience.

  • Conduct thorough research to ensure accurate and contextually appropriate use of terminology, especially for specialized or technical fields.

  • Proofread and edit translations for accuracy, grammar, and style.

  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to clarify any uncertainties regarding text meaning or project requirements.

  • Meet deadlines and maintain high standards of translation quality.

  • Stay updated with industry-specific terminology and language trends.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both the source and target languages, with exceptional writing skills.

  • Proven experience as a translator in one or more specialized fields (e.g., legal, medical, technical).

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality translations under tight deadlines.

  • Familiarity with translation software tools (such as CAT tools) is preferred.

  • Certification (such as ATA, ITI, or other relevant credentials) is a plus.

 

Job Title: On-Site Interpreter

Job Overview: We are seeking professional and skilled On-Site Interpreters to provide accurate and culturally appropriate interpretation services across various settings, including medical, legal, business, and educational environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in either American Sign Language (ASL) or spoken language interpretation and will ensure clear, effective communication between parties with limited proficiency in English or those who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide real-time, on-site interpretation services for conversations between clients and service providers.

  • Accurately convey the content and tone of the original message while maintaining confidentiality and impartiality.

  • Adapt interpreting style to suit the context, setting, and needs of the participants.

  • Assist in bridging cultural differences to facilitate understanding between parties.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant terminology and practices in various fields, including healthcare, legal, and educational sectors.

  • Ensure professional demeanor, punctuality, and adherence to ethical standards at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in ASL or fluency in at least one spoken language other than English.

  • Prior experience as an interpreter is preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Certification (such as RID for ASL or relevant language certifications) is a plus.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.
